Postnatal Pilates #5 | Mind-body connection
Postnatal Pilates
•
16m
We begin slowly in a seated position with gentle breathwork and twists, before moving into four-point kneeling for bird dogs to support stability and control through the shoulders, pelvis and abdominals. From there, we ease into a thread the needle stretch, before finishing the class in standing with heel raises.
As always, please take the class at your own pace and rest whenever you need. Jess is 3 weeks postpartum while filming, but every postnatal recovery is different - listen to your body and do what feels right for you.
I hope you enjoy the class x
