Postnatal Pilates #19 | Glutes & Strength
Postnatal Pilates
•
24m
We begin seated with breathwork, before moving into mermaid with a gentle lift of the hips to create space through the side body. From there, we transition into side-lying work to strengthen the outer glutes and support pelvic stability. Between sides, we move through an arm series, with the option to add hand weights if you wish, though you'll still feel the work without them.
The class finishes in standing with lunges and rotation to build lower-body strength, followed by a hip-opening stretch to create space and slow everything back down.
Take everything at your own pace and rest whenever you need. Jess is 10 weeks postpartum while filming, but every postnatal recovery is different - listen to your body and do what feels right for you.
I hope you enjoy the class x
