Postnatal Pilates #18 | Core & Glute Strength
Postnatal Pilates
•
19m
This class focuses on coordination and control, beginning on your back with breathwork and hip flexor stretches before moving into dead bug to gently engage the abdominals. From there, we flow into shoulder bridges with a focus on spinal articulation, adding a single-leg variation to build glute strength.
We then continue into abdominal work with toe taps, with the option to add an ab curl for deeper engagement. The class finishes in standing with wide sumo squats and heel lifts, encouraging connection through the pelvic floor.
Take everything at your own pace and rest whenever you need. Jess is 10 weeks postpartum while filming, but every postnatal recovery is different - listen to your body and do what feels right for you.
I hope you enjoy the class x
