Postnatal Pilates #9 | Reconnecting with your pelvic floor
Postnatal Pilates
•
11m
This class focuses on reconnecting with the pelvic floor through breathwork, beginning in a seated position before moving into cat/cow to encourage mobility through the spine. We then include shoulder-opening movements and bird dogs to build balance and stability, before finishing the class in standing with wide squats and a lateral bend.
As always, please take the class at your own pace and rest whenever you need. Jess is 5 weeks postpartum while filming, but every postnatal recovery is different - listen to your body and do what feels right for you.
I hope you enjoy the class x
