Postnatal Pilates #8 | Stability and strength
Postnatal Pilates
•
13m
We begin with gentle breathwork in a seated position, flowing into mermaid with cat/cow to create space through the middle of the back. From there, we move into side-lying glute work with internal and external rotation to support pelvic stability, with a heart-opening stretch between sides. The class finishes with a butterfly stretch to release through the hips and inner thighs.
As always, please take the class at your own pace and rest whenever you need. Jess is 5 weeks postpartum while filming, but every postnatal recovery is different - listen to your body and do what feels right for you.
I hope you enjoy the class x
