Postnatal Pilates #22 | Full Body Strength
Postnatal Pilates
•
21m
We begin lying down with gentle hip and spinal openings, before moving into shoulder bridges with a focus on articulation and single-leg strength. From there, we flow into abdominal work, taking everything at your own pace and using the breath to support engagement and control.
We then transition into four-point kneeling push-ups before coming up to standing for a side lunge to curtsy flow, one of my favourite ways to target the glutes. This slightly longer session is designed to leave you feeling strong and connected to your body.
Take everything at your own pace and rest whenever you need. Jess is 12 weeks postpartum while filming, but every postnatal recovery is different - listen to your body and do what feels right for you.
I hope you enjoy the class x
